So often we are asked why a family should come to Northern Elementary. 
While we can list many reasons why, don’t take our word for it;
let’s hear from current Northern parents!

Growing up I went to a private schools until I went to college. I thought I only could get that one on one experience from a private school. I wanted people to know who my kids are. Northern does all that and more. Every teacher knows my child whether she has been in their class or not. The classes are small and the teachers are beyond dedicated to each student and their success. Teachers along with the administration have created an atmosphere that is encouraging and welcoming for everyone. They truly care about all the kids and want nothing but the best for them.

Before moving to Greensboro my husband and I researched public schools in the area and quickly realized Northern Elementary was where we wanted our children to attend school. We were impressed by the score Northern was given from the Department of Public Instruction on the NC School Report Card. It was also evident from speaking to many different families that Northern Elementary fostered a wonderful learning environment that was focused on the whole child.
We moved to the district from out of state and happened upon a house in the Northern district. Looking online, we thought it seemed like one of the best in the area. We lucked out and cannot imagine being anywhere else!The community/parent support is unlike any other school. It really is like a family! I love the environment the teachers and administration create that makes kids want to come to school, even when school is challenging for them, like my own son.
